What materials do I need?

Any mature adult or teen of any skill level can attend but brain tanning is fairly labor intensive. If stamina is an issue, you should sign up with a friend and tan a single hide together.

All tools and materials are provided. If you have a hide that you would like to bring, email us to assess its suitability to the workshop.

How long is each workshop?

Workshops typically last 6-8 hours per day and it takes about 4 workshop days (spread over a month) to tan a hide.

Do you offer private sessions?

Is prior experience required?

No experience needed; we guide you through every step.
