Learn the essentials of fat tanning over four Saturdays with hands-on guidance, perfect for beginners wanting to understand the basics of hide tanning and create a wearable textile.
Participants can use a provided hide or bring their own. Braintanning is a lot of work and we'll be moving at a fast pace; sign up in pairs to work and share a single hide together.

Learn the essentials of fat tanning over a single weekend with hands-on guidance, perfect for beginners wanting to understand the basics of hide tanning and create a wearable textile.
Braintanning is a lot of work and you'll be working in pairs. To make this happen in one weekend I'll have hides prepped at different stages. You'll complete one hide with your partner and cut it in half to split it.
Hides will be provided.
